It’s not advisable to have a black background, as it will reduce the effectiveness of the projection. Black is not part of the projected colors and will appear as a shadow.

Avoid using small elements in the image, as they may not be easily distinguishable and may not be legible. Don’t try to include a page of text written in small font in the projection; it will not look good. This is because the surface where the light is directed may not always be perfectly flat, and the projector is at an angle to it, resulting in some sharpness errors, especially noticeable in small details.
